KYAN 05: sports themed party

I love shooting Maria’s parties – they are always beautifully themed and planned and sooooo much fun.  It’s always such a pleasure to be invited to record them so she can just relax and enjoy the party.  Even more exciting when the photographs show up on  Amy Atlas’ blog!

Kyan’s 5th birthday party was sport-themed and at the local Sports Centre, with a bunch of energetic young people running a stack of games and events.  I have to admit, the parachute was my favourite.  Aaah childhood memories – I used to love this as a kid!  (Everything else needs a bit too much coordination for me.)  I adored the cookie medallions at the end – and Kyan’s face as he blew out the candles.

You are such a talented woman, Maria.  Looking forward to your little Ella’s 8th birthday party in a few weeks!
